Clinical Pearls Didactic Title: Inattention and Impulsivity in Toddlers, Children and Teens

Learning objectives:

  • Identify the differential diagnosis for symptoms of inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity.
  • Name two diagnostic screening tools for ADHD and how to use them.
  • Identify the primary components of the pharmacological treatment algorithm for ADHD.
  • Name two non-medication strategies that can help with ADHD symptoms
