Clinical Pearls Didactic Title: What to do with Anxious Toddlers and Children

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. List three factors to consider in diagnosing anxiety disorders in children up to the age of 7.
  2. Name the first line treatment for most anxiety problems in children.
  3. Describe one way to support parents of an anxious young child.
