We are pleased to offer these one-hour sessions, where Primary Care Providers can learn more about the ECHO Ontario CYMH model as well as view a “sneak peek” of our didactic presentations facilitated by one of our Hub Specialists.

  4. Describe one way to support the parents/caregivers of an anxious young child.

  2. Discuss with parents/caregivers three types of stress responses and their impact on health outcomes.
  3. Distinguish secure from insecure attachment behaviours.
  4. Explain to parents/caregivers the mitigating effect of supportive adult attachment behaviours on stress in children and adolescents.
  5. Use strategies and tools to monitor and enhance parent-child relationships

  2. List three common anxiety disorders that occur in adolescents.
  3. Identify one set of questionnaires that are useful in structuring a provider’s clinical examination about anxiety.
  4. Name at least two effective treatments for anxiety disorders.
