"I feel it is a fantastic platform for broadening our knowledge base. The more we know the better we can help. The case studies offer lived experience exposure, that I would otherwise not have had. Thank you!"

“It was an excellent way to learn. It was like doing a mini psychiatric residency. I enjoyed it immensely. It gives me access to specialists when I need it. It increased my knowledge base and confidence in treating children with psychiatric /behavioural issues.”

“Great to have access to a specialized hub. Really enjoy case presentations and feedback, including written feedback provided after each case – very informative and helpful. Enjoy hearing different ideas from spoke [Learning Partners]: re: approach to each case.”

Moving Knowledge, Not People.

ECHO Ontario Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH), is an innovative, technology-enabled collaborative learning program where Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and mental health clinicians work together to discover new ways to care more effectively for children and adolescents with mental health problems. Project ECHO® is transforming the way education and knowledge are delivered to reach more people in rural and underserved communities.

Through ECHO Ontario CYMH, our Hub Specialists and Learning Partners (participants) can share experiences, expertise, and resources in all areas of the province virtually via Zoom, a videoconferencing software. By participating in this program, you will gain the skills and knowledge to help children and youth get the mental health services they need in their own community. You will be able to deliver evidence-informed care, at the right place, and at the right time. Our motto at ECHO Ontario CYMH is “We All Teach. We all Learn. Every week.”

ECHO Ontario CYMH is fully funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health.
